Our Story

Hello and welcome to my shop! My name is Michelle and I am the person behind Seaside Haven Candle Co.! I am a mother of 5 beautiful children,  and a NYC public school teacher.  My children help me package your orders and by rooting me on, while I'm home making candles!  We are a small candle company that is family operated and owned on the Throgs Neck Peninsula in Long Island Sound, Bronx NY.

Our candles are made with a coconut wax blend that ensures a natural, clean, and eco-friendly burn.  Our wax is 100% vegan and cruelty-free.  It is also free from parabens, toxins, phthalates and come from renewable sources.  

Each candle is made with natural crackling wooden wicks.  These wicks are eco-friendly, clean burning, made from FSC Certified Wood, handcrafted and made in the USA.  

Our wax melts are made with 100% soy wax.

All ingredients are vegan, plant-based, hypoallergenic, and gluten free.

There is something powerful about smells and how they can bring about memories and feelings associated with them.  Each scent carries a story/memory or feeling that is attached to that smell.  Whether it's grandma's famous apple pie or the smell of fresh laundry on Saturday mornings, each scent has the ability to transport us to a happy realm.

We want our candles to make you feel calm and at peace.  While we do offer seasonal scents that evoke feelings of togetherness, our everyday scents have the ability to calm the senses.
