Candle Care
We want your candles to last a long time and stay beautiful.
- Trim the wick. Always keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 of an inch before lighting your candle. You can just snap off the burned parts with your fingers on wooden wicks! This will prevent an overactive flame and black smoke.
- Burn your candle for at least 2.5 hours on the first burn. This will prevent tunneling.
- Do not be like me and burn your candles for more than 4 hours at a time! This is not good practice. You should burn your candles for a maximum of 4 hours at a time. Safety first!
- Keep your candle away from children and pets and never leave your candle burning unattended.
- It is time to say good bye to your candle when only 1/2 inch of wax is left. You can break off the wax and use it as wax melts! You can even use the tin to store them in or the reuse the jar as cups or planters. Just a little suggestion :)
